A Guide To The Dark is a YA thriller novel that follows the two main characters Maria and Layla. While stranded on their college tour they go to a hotel in the middle of nowhere. When they arrive Maria feels that they're like there's something wrong about their room, like it's haunted. Layla doesn't notice anything suspicious; in fact she cannot stop thinking about these confusing feelings about  Maria. But when they realize that some unexplainable  deaths  happened in their room, they must figure out how to stop this evil entity before it's too late.

You should read What a Desi Girl Wants because it's a LGBTQ+ story that focuses on the topic of family and depicts realistic problems that teens face. It also talks about loving someone and having to make hard decisions to protect the people that you care about.

Song of Salvation is such a good book especially if you relate with finding yourself and unlocking your true power. This book also shows fantasy and magic in really interesting ways. To sum up this book does a really great job at targeting the topics of finding your true power.
